60, of Park View, Iowa, died suddenly on October 21, 2006 at Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Washington Park Memorial Gardens, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Memorials may be made to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
Carole was born March 13, 1946 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Richard & Dorothy (Scharphorn) Roetman. She was united in marriage to Larry Bishop on May 28, 1977 in Eldridge.
Carole was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family and she will always be remembered as an excellent homemaker. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and bird watching.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Larry; her daughters, Kristen Hastings and her husband, Don, of Leland, Illinois, Eileen Bishop of Park View, and Laurie Bishop, of Park View; her grandson, Kameron Hastings; her sister and brother-in-law, Joy & Edward Gospodinsky, of Plymouth, Pennsylvania; her brother, Dale Roetman, of Grand Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
