The 1901 census lists Deziar’s birth date as January 23, 1833. The death certificate would seem to authenticate that date, as her age at death on March 22, 1909 is given as 76 years and 2 months.

Deziar’s daughter’s name was Rachel Deziah (after her Grandmother, Rachel Soules Corman and the combination of her Great Grandmother’s name, Keziah Deziar Green Corman). Those surviving may have been confused by the mother/daughter difference.
