Folio 567. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Charles Bond, Clerk to the Guardians of the Axminster Poor Law Union, acknowledging their letter of 12 December forwarding the list and description of those wishing to emigrate from Chardstock to Upper Canada.

The Board ask when and how they are to travel to Upper Canada. The Board had earlier issued and order for raising £31 towards defraying emigration costs. They ask if that order was acted upon.
