APSEY, ROGER L. Roger L. Apsey Sr., age 81, of Grand Rapids, passed away August 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert; and by his brothers, Theodore "Ted" and Robert Apsey. Roger is survived by his wife, Berta; their children, Roger Apsey, Jr. and Karen Apsey; grandchildren, Maylyn and Abbie Apsey, Shelley (Brad) Pero, Samuel Smigiel; sisters-in-law, Nancy Apsey and Donna Apsey; and several nieces and nephews. Roger was a retiree of the U.S. Air Force. A service to remember and celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, August 13 at 11 AM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes - Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE where friends may visit with his family from 10 AM until the service.
