Ronald Rickley Jr

31, of St. Ignace, died Saturday afternoon, November 22, 2008, at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born January 4, 1977, in St. Ignace to Ronald and Cindy (nee Huskey) Rickley.
Mr. Rickley was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and was a deli cook at Kewadin Shores Casino in St. Ignace and had worked at the same position in Sault Ste. Marie.

He is survived by a daughter, Katoni, and a son, Roman, both at home; his fianceé, Christina Searles of Kincheloe; his parents, Ron and Cindy; his grandmother, Marsha Huskey of Evergreen Shores; a brother and his family, Travis and Jaime Rickley of St. Ignace; four nieces and nephews, Logan, Cadence, Kenny, and Anthony, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Deward and Mable Rickley and Richard Huskey, and by five uncles, Deward, Gerald, Robert, Roger, and John Rickley.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 26, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church. A funeral mass will at 10 a.m. with Father Allen Mott officiating.

Pallbearers will be John Pringa, Herbie Brown, Roger Rickley, Jesse Huskey, Brandon Huskey, and Justin McLean.

Burial will be in Wequayoc Native Cemetery on M-134.

Donations may be directed to the family, with envelopes available from Dodson Funeral Home, who assisted the family with arrangements.
