was born to Sarah Dunster in 1795.  bbd means base born daughter, or born ‘out of wedlock’.  This was before Sarah Dunster married Samuel Apsey.  Samuel apparently took her in as his own child.   Might she be what Samuel Apsey Sr. was referring to in his WILL by ‘lawfully begotten grandchildren’, which she wouldn’t have been and therefore didn’t inherit?
