, otherwise known as Doolie, was born to George and Susan Apsey Hopp. My memories of Doolie was that she was always meticulously ‘put together’, wearing stylish clothing and pancake makeup. She always [to me] smelled of perfume and face powder. She happened to live near me in Wyoming, Michigan and I would often see her waiting at the corner for the bus. She was a ‘classy’ lady and fun to be around.
